Rica is an award-winning early childhood professional with deep roots in volunteer and community service. She is promoted from her current position as Associate Director of Teaching and Learning, where she has been instrumental in jump-starting Cobb’s emergent kindergarten readiness program, and developing our school-wide curriculum approach. Prior to joining Cobb, Rica worked as the Curriculum Coordinator for the Gardner School in Nashville TN.
She works alongside our Executive Director- Jessica Gaul, and Associate Director- April Alleman to bring high-quality care and education to Douglas County families in an emergent, child-centered approach.
Rica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural and International Communications from CSU Sacramento.
