COBB CHILDCARE AND PRESCHOOL RAISES $1,162.00 FOR THE ARTS
Roseburg, Oregon (2.11.20) — Cobb Childcare & Preschool held its first “Night at the Museum,” a night of art, wine and community. The children who attend Cobb Childcare and Preschool, an emergent child-centered early learning program in Douglas County, Oregon, each created a unique art piece, which was displayed with the children’s recommended contribution. While a few of the pieces fell short of their “one million monies” and “twenty-six pounds” prices as suggested by the artists, the evening was a smashing success. LEARN MORE HERE
Jessica Gaul, executive director of Cobb Children’s Learning Center, said the funds would be used to expand and enhance the art, clay and maker space at the center. Cobb Children’s Learning Center hopes to turn an entire classroom into a space for creativity, messy exploration and unlimited imagination. These funds will help attain that goal.
