I’m a proud parent, enthusiastic educator, born and raised Oregonian, avid traveler, and always ready to try
something new!
Since earning my degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Portland, I’ve been lucky enough to use my degree in every work experience, which includes; corporate childcare at Nike, teaching students at the school district level, and serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand.
I’ve also had the amazing opportunity to help revitalize an indigenous language and oversee the curriculum development, and subsequently work with the Oregon Department of Education on curriculum for Douglas County.
With over ten years of educational experience, I’m most passionate about working with small communities and giving children a strong foundation to embrace the world around them.
