I was born in Roseburg and graduated in 1970 from Glide High School. After attending college at Umpqua Community College and OCE (WOSC) I married in 1973 and journeyed to LaGrande, OR then moved to Boise, ID working for State of Oregon and then Albertsons in their head accounting office. In 1978 we had our first son and moved back to Roseburg so my husband could continue his career with the Forest Service. In 1979 I bought a business – a copy Center/secretarial service, 2 more sons joined our family and I retired after 37 years in business. Now I serve on two boards for nonprofits, spend time volunteering with Sisters of Mercy Associates and enjoy reading, gardening and depending time with my grandchildren.
