We found Jessica wandering the rolling hills of the Napa Valley, champagne in hand. Jessica began her career in early education, serving as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher from the age of 18- 21 before moving into educational leadership where she worked with corporate entities developing, designing, and overseeing early learning centers in California. From there, her career shifted to public education, overseeing district-wide programming for Napa Valley Unified School District. After 5 successful years with NVUSD, Jessica began working for herself as a non-profit and education consultant until discovering Cobb. With deep community roots wherever she calls home, Jessica brings robust non-profit and people operations experience to the role of Executive Director with Cobb and is thrilled to tap into her experience building private early education centers from the ground up, paired with expertise in public education and people operations to contribute to the advancement of Douglas County’s tiniest citizens.
Jessica holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and human resources from Claremont Lincoln University, along with a B.S. in psychology and business administration. She also holds executive certification from Cornell University in diversity and inclusion along with her early childhood education credential.
