School Supply List 2009-2010

We’re starting something new!  In an effort to listen to our parents, we have chosen to do bulk buying of school supplies; the reasons are:
1.  Parental requests and confusion over what to buy.
2. Some children do not handle their special items being placed in communal boxes.
3.  We will be able to order in bulk at less cost to you.
4.  Families will be able to use “buying time” for other things.

To accomplish this change, we need to:
1.  Charge a one time fee for supplies to be billed on your August statement.
2.  Please note below that each class has a few extra items that cannot be purchased in bulk.

The supply fee is as follows:
K-3 – $35.00
K-4 – $35.00
K-5 – 8th Grade – $35.00

Supplies we ask you to purchase:

K-3 – Back Pack and water bottle
K-4 – Back Pack, water bottle, 3 pkgs of 6+ individually wrapped healthy snacks i.e. cheese/peanut butter crackers, pretzels, dried fruit, etc.
K-5 – Back Pack, water bottle with screw on lid and pop-up sipper, several small toys, pencils, etc for reward box.

Primary – Back Pack, water bottle, solar beginning calculator, items for treasure chest, i.e. pencils, puzzles, etc.
Intermediate – Back Pack, water bottle, durable zippered 2”, 3 ring binder (zipper cover is mandatory), calculator (our Math program suggests Casio fx-55, or TI-15).
Middle School – Back Pack, water bottle, 3”, 3 ring binder w/zipper cover (zipper cover is mandatory), calculator (our Math program suggests Casio fx-55, or TI-15).
