The Shot Heard Around the World
We went to the Minuteman Visitor’s Center and watched a video presentation about the conflict that started the Revolutionary War. It was an excellent presentation that showed the British troop movements along with the trail Paul Revere rode to raise the minutemen. Then we drove through Lexington and Concord following some of the same road that Paul Revere traveled.
The day was beautiful as we crossed the Northbridge and walked up to the visitor’s center that has one of the brass cannon’s that the Yankees stole from the British.
We also passed many homes that from the Revolutionary time period and the Minute Man Monument at Lexington Green.
