4-Year-Old Room

Jessica’s room has a new theme the children learn about every week.  Her learning centers involve sensory projects, alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, and writing their own names.  In her circle time she includes calendar time where the children learn the month, week, day, and year with songs and counting.  She also does weather predictions, the ABC march, and reads a book at this time.  Her art usually goes with the theme of the week and involves many different art supplies.  She also likes to incorporate the parent talent as often as she can. Newsletters to the parents tell about activities we have experienced during the week!
