The Cobb Philosophy
The Cobb School program is based on these four tenets:
- Students are placed in developmentally-appropriate programs with a strong emphasis on collaboration between parent, teacher, and student.
- Students are taught in appropriate multi-aged settings in which each child develops at his or her own social, intellectual, emotional, and experiential level.
- Students are involved in learning experiences outside the formal classroom setting to provide community relationships that are interdependent, natural, and relevant in our society.
- Students experience a high level of parental/guardian involvement in the educational process which studies show positively impacts success.
