Sister JeanitaWelcome to the Cobb School family!  Students, staff, and parents all work together to build a community where children can work at their own pace and can be accepted for who they are.  We accept students from all backgrounds, ability levels, and economic situations.  We promote positive interaction between older and younger students and engender strong relationships between staff and students.

Our strong sense of community enables students to face academic challenges with confidence while having fun and expressing their creativity.  We firmly believe in the importance of special classes that may not be offered in public schools—art, music and dance, physical education, and computers—taught by staff who are recognized experts in their fields.  Students benefit greatly from the stability of our teaching staff and from the small size of our classes.

Parents of Cobb School students celebrate their children’s success, both in the classroom and in subsequent years after they have left us.  Our alumni return to express their appreciation for the educational foundation that Cobb has provided them.  High school teachers who receive our graduates are generally impressed with their academic performance.

I invite you to visit and learn more about Cobb School.  I look forward to meeting you and hope that you will join us as we sing, dance, paint, sculpt, play, learn, and grow together.

Sincerely,

Sister Jeanita Richter
